Does Salonly take commission?
No, never. Not on new clients, not on online bookings and not on deposits. You pay one monthly price from £19, and deposits go straight to your own Stripe account.
Can clients book on my own website?
Yes. Add one line of code to any page and a booking button appears, or share your booking page link on Instagram and Google. Clients see your real availability and book in a few taps.
What does the AI front desk do?
It answers your salon phone in a natural British voice when you are busy or closed. It answers questions about your services and prices, checks your diary, books appointments, takes messages and texts the client a confirmation. You see a summary and transcript of every call.
Is the AI front desk really included?
Yes, on every plan: 30 calls a month on Solo, 100 on Salon and 200 on Pro. Extra calls are 50p each, and you can see your usage at any time.
How does the free trial work?
Choose a plan and tell us about your salon. No card is needed. You get 14 days free with no commitment; to carry on, add a card before the trial ends. If you do not, your account pauses and nothing is charged.
Is there a contract?
Your free trial has none. After it, a plan runs for a minimum of 12 months, billed monthly, and then carries on month to month with cancelling online. If you pay yearly you get two months free.
Can you move my clients from my current system?
Yes, for free on every plan. Send us your export from Fresha, Phorest, Timely, Booksy or Treatwell, or any spreadsheet, and we bring your clients, services and future bookings across, then check them with you.
How do patch tests work?
You choose which services need an allergy alert test, how long before (at least 48 hours) and how recent it must be (for example the last six months). Online booking will not take that service without a valid test; it offers the patch test instead.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. You can export your clients, appointments and records in one click, whenever you like.
Is the video real?
Yes. It is the real Salonly app, recorded on a phone. The salon, its team and its clients are sample data, made up for the demo.
